I enjoyed it,  even at 3 quid in.

Impressed with the free pork bap..

Also, and I agree that in this modern enlightened age these things should be of no significance in shape or form what so ever, all the bar maids are easy on the eye.

Can't vouch for the fizzy pop lager but the Doom Bar was a decent pint.

Fit barmaids was the MO of the Eddy so no surprise there.

Still charging £3 after the game? That's a bigger piss take than pre match. They can definitely jog on.

Charging after the game as well is taking the piss slightly.

We went to the Holte Suite for an hour after the game which is free to get in, then walked down to the Tavern and didn't get charged to get in. The pub itself is very nice indeed.

I thought the pub looked great. Got served pretty quickly and there was plenty of room to shuffle about in.
Didn't have the pork bap on religious grounds.

PS. Ding dong.

Is the Tavern built on an old church?  Couldnt you have just eaten it outside?

Bar maids with their jugs hanging out and doom bar sounds like a good combination.

Is that their advertising campaign?  Works for me.
