Bolt made all the difference for the Jamaican 4x100 relay team, as England had overhauled them by the third change. He really is in a class of his own.

Gold for the 4x400 relay men, bronze for the women, well done.

Loved the welsh pole vaulter, she looked as if she was enjoying the whole thing.

Absolutely gutted for the England netball team, who lost the gold in the last 10 seconds by one point! Fantastic match.

When they entered the last 100m neck and neck, there was only ever going to be one winner.  When you see him up against the other competitors, it is noticeable how much bigger he is than the others.  I don't really know about the mechanics of sprinting, but his size must have something to do with his dominance.

Surely not, otherwise every 100m final would be full of tall blokes lie Bolt.

I thought Jo Pavey did fantastically well at these games. A true role model.

As an Engineer I am extrapolating data from related sources and coming up with a hypothesis!
