Bowls as a sport gets very little air time

There's a very good fucking reason for that.

not sure if Usain will run -think he is looking for excuses already. My inside info suggests he might pull out at last minute.

Well he does think the games are a bit crap. Allegedly.

The sooner he retires the better. Athletics doesn't need celebutards like him.

Youtube has a good live stream. The comments box has too many trolls, though. But it does make you laugh when they switch event and all of the fans start screaming for the boring shit to be brought back.

Some strange marking going on in the beam final.   :-\
How Claudia F could end up out of the medals after her routine beats me.

2 English left in the pole vault, guaranteed medals and they can't switch to watch all the attempts from the 10,000m.

As usual, with the reaction of the crowd you can tell what the outcome of each jump is. Then they will show you a bloody replay. I don't understand why they would do that at all?

Love the relays. Looking forward to them later. Chances of England getting the baton round? Zero :-)

Usain was very quiet in call room. Not sure he will make it into their team for the final- they have some very good runners here (they had a clean sweep in the 200m) so he'll be struggling to get picked!

Having said that those 3 plus him should be a safe bet for gold, with England a good chance of a medal.

Men 4x4 and Women 4x1 England could do well.

We were very fortunate to get the baton round safely in the women's 4x1 but apart from that they looked very tidy indeed.

There's a world class youngster, Keshorn Walcott, performing in the Javelin at the moment but the beeb decide to show boxing reruns instead. The coverage of field events this Championship has been a joke.

Decent day for the Home Nations in the boxing with plenty of golds for England, Scotland and Norn Iron. Tom Daley wins the Gerrarding. Bolt and friends win the 4x100m relay, as expected, and the pesky Aussie women equalise with about ten seconds of the hockey final left against England....

...penalties next on BBC3!

Bolt made all the difference for the Jamaican 4x100 relay team, as England had overhauled them by the third change. He really is in a class of his own.

Gold for the 4x400 relay men, bronze for the women, well done.

Loved the welsh pole vaulter, she looked as if she was enjoying the whole thing.

Absolutely gutted for the England netball team, who lost the gold in the last 10 seconds by one point! Fantastic match.
