3 straight red cards for Sanchez, Giroud, and Ozil. Every other players to get one yellow card (the other coming on Sunday for Cazorla, the keeper, whoever their defenders are, Walcott, Wilshere and anyone else worthwhile). Lots of injuries too. just pulls and strains and dead legs nothing too serious, you know, just enough.

I'm not sure the FA would have been quite as charitable had it been us.

Surely it was either a 3 game ban for violent conduct, or not worthy of a red card at all?

A Sunderland win also means Arsenal can't relax for their last game as they could still be caught by Manure and get dumped into the CL play-offs. I assume 4th place still have to do a qualifying round.

A new offence of 'slightly violent conduct but not really'.
I'd rather Arsenal have to play everyone in the last game than bother about what may relegate Newcastle.
