Just watching the Sunderland game on MOD. The first penalty if, as the commentator said was awarded for dangerous play then, the decision should have been an indirect free kick and not a penalty. If the commentator was incorrect in his assumption and the referee decided it wasn't dangerous play then, the only reason he could award a penalty would be that he considered that the challenge was serious foul play which warrants a red card. IMO. It was a genuine attempt by the Southampton player to play the ball but by virtue of the Sunderland player dropping his head and the player's foot being high it was no more than an indirect free kick for dangerous play. If it had played out that way, Sunderland would only have gained one point and, life would be just that little bit easier for us. On such little things...

I prefer River Plate. And Boca play in blue....

Glad Forest Green lost because:(a) they refuse to sell meat at the stadium as the manager is a vegan fascist.(b) they were the only team not to win on my fourteen team, 700-1 accumulator the other week.Bastards. Hope they rot.
A friend of mine wants to get a Colonel Sanders tattoo. I think I might, finally, have talked him out of this mental idea by mentioning that people might think he's a really big fan of an Antipodeon sex pest known for singing "Three Little Boys".
Ok, but before you go, I'd quite like another triple quote to send me off to sleep, please.
