Was Pearson a condescending headteacher or in the army in a previous life or former profession?

In the same article I quoted from earlier he said if it wasn't for football he would've gone into the armed forces, so you aren't too far off.

Are you flexible enough? I am, you're not.

This reminds me of a chap at college who was quite short but very stocky with a neck the size of a fashion model's waist and a rugby player for the first X1 ("The Warwick wankers ore on the piss again, we want a wee wee now" was their drunken anthem). He and his cronies would approach likely lads in the Student Union bar and pose the question "Have you been dipped?".

Anyway, it's good to know that Pearson has been flexed.

He got a good telling off from Pat Murphy today.

Well done Pat Murphy.  And what a massive cunting twat of a wankstain Pearson is, an absolute bellend of the first water.  I hope that horrible bastard goes down, gets relegated again and again, and meets a grisly end somehow.  The twat.  Scum of the highest order.  Sorry, but he winds me up.

Pat Murphy is in the lucky position of knowing that he will still be in a job long after Pearson is gone. The young kids who get sent to push a microphone in players' faces don't have that privilege. Terrifying to know that you are just one stroppy manager away from being a YouTube pisstake.

Really great stuff from Pat Murphy there. As for Pearson, complete wanker, and a bit scary too. As in, creepy scary. He's proper weird.

Anyone would think Leicester have suddenly become Brazil. They've had one quite fortunate run of results having been bottom all season. I know that they were playing Chelsea last night but even so I thought they were poor. Still wouldn't surprise me if they went down.

I look at somebody like Pearson and wonder whether he laid his patio himself, and whether he dug the footings at night

Just like that interview you were involved with, it's the interviewees who show themselves up.  Decent journalists asking reasonable questions shouldn't have to put up with that sort of shite.

Isn't it strange the number of times in the two interviews that Pearson was asked to give an example, and never gave one. He's a cockwomble of the highest order.

It does make me concerned as to how he gets his aggression out. I get that football's a passionate thing, and that if you see your team lose from a winning position in a scrabble for points yadda yadda..., but he seems a man who is wound up far too easily. That hostility doesn't just come from nowhere, because he's eerily calm about it.

As soon as Pearson mentioned the word ostrich my mind switched to a vision of Bernie Clifton walking into the press conference!

He doesn't even seem that wound up, it's just the calm, sneering hostility of a life-long bully.

Every time I see Pearson the overwhelming question which jumps into my mind is what does he say to his barber?

First XV ... but I know what you mean.
