They are utterly dreadful and I am very confident Stoke will win this now they have equalized.

Ahem!

A month ago I'd have been happy to be 2 points out of the bottom 3 after having to play Man U / Spurs & Man City. Of course we might get something today, which would bring us clearer.

I'm sure we'll be fine, but we need a minimum of 4 points.

QPR and Burnley have both wasted precious games today that they had to win. They both look gone to me now. So it's one other and I don't honestly think it will be us. The good thing today as that Newcastle are getting dragged into it.
Absolutely.

I'd rather be in our position over any other team from 14th in the table downwards.

Were we somehow expecting both Burnley and Leicester to lose today?

If we lose to City we'll be only two points clear of the bottom three, having played a game more.  Sad times.

I feel sure we have had days like this each of the last few years. We convince ourselves we won't need many points then the teams around us get surprise wins. Who would have thought Leicester could win four in the trot? We all thought they had gone.
Hoping for something today but we will have 3 of last 4 at home so fingers crossed.

Haven't I always told you not to trust a Mark Hughes team?

If they draw their game in hand and we lose today just look at our goal difference, if you're not worried you need to be.

Relegation battles are full of ifs though. We have the points in the bag and the position.

Watford are up and if Bournemouth win on Monday night they are effectively up due to having a miles better goal difference than Boro.

2 results went the wrong way for us. 4 went our way more or less.

Leicester and Hull won. Burnley,QPR, Sunderland and Newcastle didn't. Could have been a lot worse:  Burnley and QPR missed pens to win and Sunderland and Newcastle were both in front.

Hull winning is the only disappointing results. Considering they all had games they'd have had big hopes of winning it was hardly a nightmare set of results.

I wasn't expecting Hull or Sunderland to get anything. I managed to get a big fat zero right out of five on my PL bets. I had Palace, Newcastle,West Ham, Stoke and Liverpool. Wycombe failing to beat Morecambe spoilt a very nice win on my League Two bet.
