We may have shot ourselves in the foot by spanking Sunderland 4-0. If we'd scraped it 1-0 Poyet would still be there and they'd still be below us

I think you may have entered the realms of self-parody.

TBH that was an ideal fixture for Sunderland today being up against shite local rivals at home with new gaffers first home game.

A real shame we couldn't have held on for a point against either stoke or Swansea.  That would have been a very valuable point given this weekend's results and our GD

I found a negative in a 4-0 away win.

I saw it. Is he really a nonce going down as a paedophile as they were singing?

I'm not sure it would have scanned if they'd have included the legal caveats.

It probably came across wrong. I was trying to say if poyet hadn't been sacked they'd probably be still below us / really struggling

I think he'd be gone by now regardless really. He was a dead man walking and he looked resigned to it as much as anyone. He looked even more beaten down than Lambert did in his last couple of months.

Each of the last three Sunderland managers have had Newcastle as their second match and each have won. It is now almost a tradition.

It's their given in recent years. Doesn't matter how shite things are, they still seem to rub Newcastles nose in it. It's a bit like how any player off form in desperate need of a goal somehow turns into Pele the moment they play us.

Sunderland have won five in a row against them now and Newcastle haven't beaten them in seven in total. That's even worse a run than our Small Heath horrors circa 02-05.

Like his passion

Change a few of the players names round, narrate in a Brummie accent and he could be talking about us.
