We do need to win. I am going by the theory that teams near the bottom tend not to win consecutive games and find ways to screw things up. We should be the more desperate having lost two straight and in front of our home fans. We need to come out all guns blazing and not let it drag on. Because the last minute kick in the balls is only around the corner if it does.

Sunderland are where they are for a reason but based on the first 45 minutes, I can't see Newcastle getting back in this. They've looked fecking awful.

Over the years I've seen us take lots of nothing or less than we deserve from games where we have played well and should have won.
