Was Pearce the one who totally failed to understand goal-line technology at the World Cup? He should've been retired, in the same way that lame horses get "retired", straight after that.

Yep that was truly embarrassing. Didn't he rant on about the technology changing its mind or something?

He hadn't quite grasped that it was two separate incidents. Idiot.....

It was probably the most embarrassing bit of commentary I have ever seen.

And he kept going on about it even though it had been explained to him, "Yes, but what if it happens in the final???"

Truly, I actually felt embarrassed for him.

I remember us ripping the piss out him for it for it on the World Cup thread.

This is Partridge-esque.

"Goodness me, they've changed their minds!"

Who have? Those 'suits' at FIFA House? Verbal dribble all over that one, Pearce. What I like is that he says "it's not the same one they use in the Premier League", like good old fashioned English cameras would have ruled it a foot out from crossing the line.

Our cameras aren't foreign so they don't cheat.

Alleged racist abuse at last nights quarter final. Of course a few idiots running on a football pitch is worse.

Do we have a PR man? If so, what the fuck does he do?

Is it just me or does Welbeck look quite overrated? doesn't look like he'd belong into Arsenal team.

A lovely night of barely concealed jingoism on ITV, and Charlie Nicholas screaming like a twat on SSN.

Great.
