Be interesting to see what impact this season has on the UEFA coefficients. At the moment England, Germany and Spain have four CL places, with Italy on three. If Juventus get past Dortmund and four of the five Italian clubs left in the Europa League get through, we might find that Premier League teams are battling for third rather than fourth at some point in the next couple of years.
Quote from: Bren'd on March 11, 2015, 10:24:53 PMCarragher eulogising now. They don't get it any of them. The league isn't competitive because all the top 4 teams have all the best players. They don't need to try too hard in this league because it's an unlevel playing field. To be better in Europe you need your domestic league to be more competitive. Reap what you sow.PSG have even less competition in Ligue 1 than Chelsea do in England. There isn't a single team with even a tenth of PSG's budget in France.

Juventus are strolling Serie A, Bayern are 11 points clear in the Bundesliga and that's before you even start on how much more money Real and Barcelona get over the rest of Liga BBVA.
Fingers crossed they crumble and blow their lead in the Premier League now too.Villa staying up and winning the F.A cup, Mourinho blowing the title, and Man U failing to qualify for europe would be marvellous.

Graeme Souness has just really launched into the Chelsea cheating tonight, epitomised by Costa running 50 yards to join in the "protests" about Ibrahimovic's tackle.
