Man U fans sang through the applause for Tom Finney to drown it out. What a nice bunch they are.

Phil Neville on Blind: 'He's controlled the game with the most amount of passes on the pitch'! I think he meant to say: He controlled the game with the greatest number of passes.... How do these thicko, non-journalists, who can't even string a sentence together, get to work for the BBC? ::)

Van Gaal somehow manages to look like both Beavis and Butthead.

Very tense here! ....and very annoying that our seats are so close to the oh so punchable away support. Gone a bit sweary in the equivalent of the sleepy Trinity & drawing some strange looks!

I wonder whether I'll see our boy Callum get a run out in the second half?

Watched the first-half with my 5 year-old son before he went to bed and not knowing the players/officials it's amazing how spot on he was. 7 or 8 minutes in, " This ref is rubbish" (O'Dowd). And then we were talking about my fat goalkeeper (he picked Man U to want to win and I've got Preston). "It's okay dad. I've got a fat player too". " I don't think you have mate". "Yeah, I do. Look it's him". Cue a shot of Rooney...
