Chelsea denied opening goal in 87th minute by correct offside decision so they mob the ref and get Barry sent off. Mourinho to complain that the offside law only applies to Chelsea.

Results not gone our way tonight apart from Burnleys. They've absolutely dominated Man U as well.

Oh I don't know, Palace would have been expecting to beat Newcastle at home

Bent scored again and set up the other

Glad you mentioned that as I was laughed at a couple of weeks ago for suggesting that we give Bent another go.  Suddernly doesn't sound such a bad idea does it boys and girls?....
Of course it still sounds likes a bad idea.

Which of the no chances that we created this evening did you picture Darren Bent popping up on the end of?
Exactly.   As much shit as Benteke and Gabby are getting, I would be looking at the midfield and tactics that are delivering next to nothing.  It's so fucking obvious, it hurts.

We do seriously need to get our heads round the fact that the line up doesn't matter with this twat in charge. He has shown time and time and time again that it makes absolutely no bloody difference

Indeed, but things have changed as of today.  And thats the thing even if I conceeded that it would not have been worth bringing him back before todays news (which I don't) then now with someone who actually likes playing wingers and has a more postive outlook then we could maybe create those chances.  Besides, I just don't see the issue here.  Its not like I am saying we should bring Bent back as our number one striker.  I am saying either have him as an impact sub type player or play him as part of a two man attack or just off someone or vica visa.  Anyway, I know this is the wrong thread so I will shut up now...

There might be a recall clause in his loan deal, in which case getting him back in goalscoring form may be useful.

Can you have recalls on a lengthy loan?

I suspect we can't recall Bent or Robinson.Last season we stopped Given going back to Boro as they were not contributing much to his salary and after Jan we would not have been able to recall him if we had a keeper get injured.

Burnley lost, Palace drew, Albion won. Pretty even to me. Although obviously three defeats would have been nice.

No way should Adrian have been sent off for 'falling' on the ball after being rugby tackled.

Agreed.  Keown was talking out of his arsehole on MOTD.  Always find it dumb when they say things like "well it was a poor touch by the keeper, he was asking for it" etc.  At the end of the day either its a handball or its not no matter how bad his touch was.  Never thought I would be taking Phil Neville's side on anything.

Another Keown gem tonight was when he seemed to suggest that we were lining up Hoddle for the job.  Well I don't know who his sources are, but I think I'd take him over Hoddle...
