This West Ham performance so far should stop people here thinking Fat Sam is a miracle man.

I don't think people view him as a miracle man at all. But he's a very competent PL manager and has proven it over the years. Because they might lose today shouldn't change that fact. They could very well go and win next week. Also factor in their CF Carroll who has been really quite good this season is out for the season and he has played a big part in their resurgence of late.

Short term Pulis finds ways to play to the strengths of the players that he has available to him. He is doing it with Albion and he did it at Palace. Long term Albion fans probably know what's coming though as he buys specific players to play to a specific style with the objective of mid table security.

I'm surprised how well they've played, the way they've looked to pass the ball around, good movement and playing with so much confidence. Not the type of thing I'd expect from a Pulis team.
