I'd like to know when Darren Fletcher turned into Socrates? If he'd played for anyone else nobody would give a shit about him.  Even our midfield made him look anonymous in December. Sky going OTT for a change.

Pulis making him a captain straight away is a strange one, reminds me of when Mick McCarthy made Roger Johnson captain as soon as he signed at Wolves and that destroyed morale and they went down.

West Brom have been totally dire so far, so not holding much hope of them stopping Burnley winning.

Burnley winning 1-0

If Man City hadn't scored the last minute goal yesterday, we'd be in the bottom three in the "as it stands" table.

But they did, so we aren't.

Lets hope it's the same result.

Well hopefully if there is no pressure on Lambert from the top hopefully this sort of result will apply the pressure we need to start winning points off the teams around us.

I'd prefer a Burnley win over the Bitters winning. Burnley will be shite regardless of result, Bitters losing keeps them right in it and with Pulis not being the most popular choice for West Brazil I can see them imploding the more they struggle under him as the fans will turn on him quickly.

This match is a case of Sky filling their contractual obligations.

Nah draw, both teams drop two points that way and would seriously deflate Burnley going into that nightmare run of games.

A draw would be ideal, but I meant if one of them wins i'd prefer Burnley. The more the Bitters fail in these games the more fecked they are. Their last 5 games are Liverpool (H) Manure (A) Newcastle (A) Chavski (H) Arsenal (A). Hopefully not many points there for them to save themselves.

On the basis they are already in big trouble and I think they are the weakest four teams, at the moment I am looking for Hull, Leicester, Qpr and Burnley defeats above anything else (apart from Villa wins obviously). Oh, and a threesome with Michelle from Corrie and Alicia from Emmerdale.
