Daniel Sturridge - "I'm grateful to God I was able to come back from injury". Oh do fuck off.
Is anyone else a secret fan of The Football League Show on BBC1 (after MOTD)?I love it. It lasts FOREVER (well, about an hour and a half), and even manages to put up with that grating bald twat with his over-familiar manner AND Steve Claridge while still being watchable.Yes, yes, yes, training for next season etc etc etc.

Although I do think that, aside from the shame and the financial implications, the most awful thing about relegation would be the prospect of that grating bald twat turning up to do one of his light-hearted featurettes at our place. When that bellend's hanging around your tunnel with an amusing quip, you know you're in the shit.

It's still slightly odd to think that God, should such an entity exist, would prioritise helping a millionaire kick a ball around ahead of, say, sorting out the Ebola Crisis or bringing about peace in the Middle East.
