The b-lose wankers ruined that minute's silence, it was much worse than a few people coming in late. 'The Last Post' rescued our city from yet more of the embarrassment that small heath repeatedly heap on it. Wish they'd just go bump and come back with a new name.
Let's see what happens next week at Upton Park. Last year, the Wet Spammers were incensed by Villa fans who were singing in the concourse during the 1 minute's silence (oblivious, I believe, to the fact that it was taking place).

Fair point I suppose. And by rob and saunders heroes as well.

Talking of West Ham, wasn't that where there we had the worst minute's silence ever, for Alan Hardaker in the infamous FA Cup quarter-final? From memory it was going off everywhere throughout.

Leicester v Albion absolute shite. Leicester should have had a pen, but this is a scruffy game. I was led to understand that the stripeys play pure football. They're a bag of wank on this evidence.

I know it's not going to happen, but wouldn't it be great if Southampton could take one of the top 4 places at the expense of Liverpool and Man Utd

That would be a shot in the arm to loads of other clubs, and the best thing to happen in football for years

Strange day in early November. Temperature around 18/19, 7 PL games being played on a Saturday and Stewart Downing has scored a goal.

Is it too early to start 'Wigan Watch', as we might call it? 3 of the 5 teams below Villa are playing and none are winning. Monday evening will see a relegation 6 pointer between Palace and Sunderland.

Bowery sent off ...surely a mistake as he never does anything to hurt anyone!

Or does anything of note/create conversation of any relevance.

The Sissokho we turned down?

I think he is going to be a really top player, i don't care if he wanted £70/80 k a week, he will be worth £20/30 m in a couple of years time and we should have bought him.

Sissoko has been massively underwhelming for Newcastle pretty much since he got there.

He certainly hasn't shown a single thing to suggest he will be worth that sort of money.

The commentator during the Liverpool match said that he was in the top 5 for 'chances created' last season.  So not headline creating but it might be a bit harsh to say underwhelming.

If we're talking about Newcastle still how were Janmaat and Sissoko both allowed to finish the game, either of those being red really wouldn't have been a shock.
