So predictions for how many England will get tonight?

I'm going for 7.

England coach Roy Hodgson on ITV:

Quote
"We need to see a continuation from, in particular, what we saw against Switzerland and, to some extent, Norway. Those performances gave us encouragement.

"We are playing opponents not of the level of the last two - that poses problems though. We've set players objectives tonight. Fabian [Delph] we are sparing because he took a nasty kick at the weekend. With the other game coming so close we are resting him and also giving Jack [Wilshere] the chance to play further forward."

Ah well I'm glad he's being sensible with Delph.

I've put a silly bet on a Milner hat-trick but I also have San Marino+6 as part of my accumulator so anywhere between three to five-nil with Jimmy keeping the ball would be ideal.

I'll predict England win 6-0 with a late goal just to fuck up my bet.

Delph sounds like a confirmed starter if fit from what Hodgson says.

No Weimann in the Austrian squad.

Big Phil starts for the Swiss in Slovenia.

Bugger it. Milner's playing defensive midfield. There goes my hat-trick bet.

Why play a defensive midfielder against Dan Marino?

San Marino appear to be adopting Lamberts much coveted 9-0-1 formation.

Fair play to them. They're hardly going to go gung-ho, why should they?

Their competitive footballing existence is entirely pointless but that's another matter.
I think their record scorer has something like 8 goals. ha ha.
I do often find myself willing San Marino to win if I ever see them playing. They play negatively in pretty much every game. You'd think if they played someone at least half bobbins they at least have a go.

If Roy's got any sense he will take a striker of now and stick another defender on and try and hold out for a 1 nill Win

He's got two pretty defensive strikers in Rooney and Welbeck as it is. I'd sacrifice Sterling and Wilshere and bring on a couple more defenders to see the game out.
