I always thought the argument for the Premier League being the best in the world was because most games are competitive. Most games are near capacity and even a side fighting to survive can beat one of the top sides. Whereas somewhere like Spain for example, Barca and Real walk over most teams in most games and only a handful of teams can attract a respectable crowd size.

In La Liga last season in the finale, didn't the two Madrids and Barca all fail to win their last 4 games or something?

I agree it's a myth Barca and Real Madrid win 5 nil every week, Real have already lost twice this season.

QPR 1-1 Stoke

Diouf early in the game for Stoke, Caulker or maybe even an OG just before HT

Can't say I'm too interested in what goes on in *that* area of the table.  Sniff.

I just like looking down there now and again to keep me grounded. It does smell down there and I wouldn't want to associate with the low life's of the league, but I'd like to give the impression I care even if I don't. A bit like the rich doing a tax deductible fund raiser for the hungry.

Yes Rio Ferdinand again. I shudder to think we could have signed him.

QPR's defence is utterly horrendous. Very reminiscent the worst of us between 2012- early 2014.

They should defend like Shawcross and hope the ref is totally blind as Mr Atkinson appears to be in this match.

'Arry taking QPR into the Conference would be excellent.

Good fight back today for the Toon and the performance overall sounds good.  Something to build on at least.

It's one thing is spending £7m or whatever we did. It's another being bollocks having spent the GDP of a small nation.
