Some choice comments today from my wife as I get angry AGAIN on the weekend.

"Why dont you pick a good team next season? Put you in a better mood."
"Why does Prince William support losers? Does he get mad at Kate because they lose all the time?"

Thanks love.

Haha just what you want hear eh? Well hopefully "you have picked a good team next season".

Yeah it was lovely :) To be fair she and the kids are the ones who suffer every game as I stomp about the house so I do not blame her.

Ah well now I have Englands world cup performance to look forward too......

The first half was one of the worst half I've seen from villa this season, and we had some pretty awful ones... I wish we could have done something on the last day but well, hopefully Lerner and Lambert will be out next season and we'll have someting to look forward to.

The word filter doesn't give quite the same effect.

Only listened to the first half on the radio.  Felt we still had a chance when we had a decent amount of the ball at 1-0, second pretty much killed it, and to go three down before half-time was depressing.  I decided to turn over after that but will suffer the HIGHLIGHTS tomorrow.

From what I heard it had a bit of an end of season feel to it, but I am not surprised than Spurs totally outclassed us.

This is a big summer for Villa, something major has got to change, otherwise I think it maybe our time to take the drop next year.

Boy am I'm glad than we faced a Hull side with one eye on Wembley when we did ::)

Horrible season, with very few highlights, and it ends on a whimper.

He actually managed to get "go again" into his post match interview , cleverly using it between first half / second half as obviously no games next week.

Credit where it's due.

Considering the performances from the players since the strange announcement from Lerner (except for the must win Hull game), the players must know something we don't as most don't seem to give a toss.

Wouldn't surprise me.  And that is bad management on his part, its not just that it pisses the fans off, but also than it sends the wrong message to the players.  In the first part of the season I actually thought than more often than not we did play well even in defeat, but those days seem a long time ago.

Judging by Niklas Helenius' Twitter feed, which appears to focus on a team winning the Danish league today, he won't miss Villa much when he gets shipped out. Can you blame him?

Please forgive me for saying this but i'm pleased we put in yet another pitiful performance because it highlights to those too stupid to have realised months ago that neither Lambert or Lerner are in any way right to be in their respective positions. Abject.

"I've loved every minute of it " past tense

Surely that is correct if he was talking about the season as it's ended? Quite how he loved it is beyond me mind.
I "have loved" is in the present perfect, it's not the past tense.

Wow thanks. So basically you are so enlightened and those of us who might have had a different opinion or been a little more patient are stupid?

I know it's been said many times on this forum but we are a complete load of shite. An inability to string 2or3 passes together, virtually no movement off the ball, can't defend, can't score, crap long ball tactics. I feel sorry for the poor buggers who travel away to watch that complete shit. At least I could turn the telly off.
