Playing Baker over Clark for most of the second half of the season is brain dead in the extreme. Some of the things like injuries this season Lambert can't be blame for but you can certainly pin that on him. Clueless.

I'm sorry, but if Vlaar is awful how would you describe Baker, Lowton and Bowery?

Our fans celebrating wildly any attempt at goal is very amusing and a remarkably damning criticism. Very good stuff.

I give up with Westwood. At the very best, he's championship standard. So out of his depth, and the odd decent game doesn't hide that.

Dean Scogins from The Sun, "I once asked Gerard Houllier about Baker. He takes good throws" was his glowing praise

Sorry mate, no way is Vlaar 'shit'. He can't defend on his own, assisting those around him. He is the captain, and rightly so.

For a public flogging and execution?

Vlaar is the best of a very bad bunch of defenders. Simple!

Every player looks worse than they are. Not saying they are all at this level, but since Chelsea they have regressed beyond all recognition.

Thing is, Clark actually looked ok until he got injured and Baker got in. He has not had a sniff since, despite our goals conceded having rocketed in that time about 10 fold!

At this point, the only Villa player I like is Guzan.

Fulham 1-1. They might just drag us back into it.
