My str**m has "Knob Creek" emblazoned across the screen.

Schadenfreude.
That's the one that I'm watching.
My knobs just disappeared though.

I had that earlier. I was going to post 'we're up Knob Creek without a piddle' but thought better of it

MON's in the crowd....

Next spuds boss?

Come to gloat - he'll be telling everyone sitting near him 'I got these in the top 6, you know'
Oh for those days though.....

With 20:20 hindsight the moment he walked was the moment we should have realised that Lerner had given up.

Vlaar is good player needing to play with equally good and better players. Not the utter gash that has now and often has to compensate for. It makes him look worse than he actually is.

Indeed and all the commentator could say was Villa fans voicing their dissent

I wouldn't say he's awful - he's had a good season for us, relatively speaking.  But his hapless performances at the Euros just before we signed him were cause for concern.  I think we should hold on to him.  Playing alongside such flakes in the back four would dent anyone's confidence.
For me he's in the good enough for crossover camp. Keep in on a year or two while we rebuild (from pretty much square one again).
In terms of players like Baker though. They shouldn't play for us again. Nowhere near the standard required, and offer nothing.

Lerner wont sack him, he'll leave that to the next owner of AVFC.
Exactly, it just wouldnt make financial sense, unless of course, the prospective buyers were to make it a pre-condition of sale that "Lerner hires, Lerner fires", in which case.....

It doesn't really make any difference.

It would be the club sacking him, not Lerner himself (legally).
Yes but as i`ve said elswhere, the club would have to settle up in our out of court (remember MON), which, bearing in mind, would probably cost a Million or so, all that comes off the bottom-line valuation of the club, so somewhere along the line Randy foots the bill bless him.

Vlaar would be fine next to some decent defenders.

I'm sorry, but if Vlaar is awful how would you describe Baker, Lowton and Bowery?

Extremely shit.
