Great buzz at the ground yesterday. A fair few stayed for the players lap of appreciation and it was well received. Vlaar and Albrighton were still on the pitch kicking a ball about with their young children at almost 6pm, all in their Villa kits, nice to see it was.

Remember his celebrations with the PSV (right club?) fans shown on here when we signed him
Feel free to shoot me down but to me yesterday demonstrated why we no longer require Gabby. His best asset has diminished and is very easy to play against.
Eh? It was great for us when we got going in the 2nd half of last season. He started brightly, struggling with injuries coupled with a loss of form this season. We shouldn't even countenance letting him go anywhere as he's still an important player for us.
