Can forget about football now until August. . Don't need to worry about the world cup as our chances are nil in Brazil so I can now get on with leading a normal life again now for a few months.it will be like a holiday.

Job done, never in doubt.

Praise for Bowery and Baker, they get (quite rightly at times) plenty of stick but both contributed today.

Always a tad sad to leave VP for the last time in a season. Onwards and upwards, hopefully.

What was the reaction to the lap of appreciation? Many stay back for it?

Me and Leeg didn't, so no idea.

Thanks for the lift back Leeg, and as always , good to see Mr Sox and John E today.

I've been at a friends' wedding all day. I know the results - shame it"s not 100% safe, but quite frankly, i'm on the way to getting fucking battered. Well done, UTV.

Great win.  Thank God Curtis had a shite game and thank God they didn't look interested.  But well done to the team for the fast start that has been lacking all season.

And a big shout out for Bowery much criticises but I thought he was excellent today.

Lerner needn't delay his announcement any longer.  Lets hear it then so we can plan for the future.

I'm surprised on the "didn't look interested" comments. The FA cup is still on their minds yes, but they are still an outside bet for relegation if Norwich win on Sunday. I suspect like Southampton, we managed to neutralise the threat and apart from the scoring freekick, we pretty much cut out any defensive mistakes. Clark standing on the ball was the closest they came to scoring second half.

I'm still not certain what formation we started out with but we got the shock (lucky)goal. Bowery made more intelligent runs then Gabby when he came on and setup the corner for the second and made the 3rd. Then we went 4-4-2 and absorbed them before going 5-4-1 to play it out

Thank god for that.
So Weiman and Bowery showed that they need to play in the right positions, it has taken the Manager this long to work it out except he didn't, it was forced upon him. He also dropped KEA, about time.
Allbrighton Delph and Westwood were also excellent. Well done Baker for competing in the Penalty Box and looking pretty decent today.

Now lets hope that a positive announcement follows because we really do not want to go through another season of worry and struggle.

I stayed. A pretty sizeable chunk did, and gave the team a good reception, and sung songs for Gabby, Delph, Guzan, and Kozak, who was walking around in jeans.

Interesting that Lambert didn't come out with the team, fair play to him. I think he didn't want to risk any boos and wanted all the focus to be on the players.

Thank fcuk for that. Must eat a small slice of humble pie - when Gabby was subbed by Bowery I had a head-in-hands-is-that-the best-we've-got moment and the lad proved me wrong - he made some great runs and his all round play was really good. Maybe there's a player in there after all.
