Help me. Am I missing something?
Couldn't we still go down if everything goes belly up and goal difference is destroyed?

Norwich would have to beat Chelsea and Arsenal and in doing so, reverse a 17 goal swing. Sunderland, West Brom and Hull would all need to overtake us as well. Hopefully Norwich will be as good as down tomorrow.

Good performance under massive pressure.  I think we were aided by a shockingly bad Hull side that have the FA Cup final to think about though.

Delph, Andi and fucking Bowery did well.

Well yes if Norwich beat Chelsea and Arsenal and there's an 18 goal swing...so we are safe.

It was the perfect game for us, Hull had half an eye on Wembley.

just had "neil" the blues fan on WM. more concerned with the villa than blues." Could have done with the villa going down though" was his considered opinion.

Phew.  I can't take another season like this.  Big change needed from top to bottom.

Convincing. Reminded me of the latter part of last season and us winning against teams around us, well, when we needed it.

We are safe.

Norwich need to basically win both games (Chelsea and Arsenal) and turn round a 17 goal difference.

We are safe as houses.

Can I just say, bloody well played Bowery too. Fought, ran hard and looked like he could perform at this level, even after the unlucky own goal. Fair play to the kid.

I just needed reassurance ..... I feel much better now, thank you.

But I'll still be following closely the Norwich match tomorrow ....  so tell me again.

It's a shame we have to wait until tomorrow for the Norwich game.

we've been shit for four years but it would have been as bad for the PL as it would have for us if we had gone. We're in reduced circumstances but we are still a very big club.
