With a win, we will be safe.  For another season.

Went to get my tickets yesterday afternoon. Vowed after Southampton not to watch such rubbish again this season, but changed my mind. Just need to be there to cheer the team on.

Whilst i was there yesterday the team were arriving, presumably to go off to a hotel. Saw Vlaar, he is a big guy. Westwood was there in a sporty BMW. Albrighton turned up in a very blingy Merc 4 x 4 with huge wheels, which looked more like a drug dealers motor! He needs to tone it down!

I was tempted to shout that they should pull there bloody finger out tomorrow but the sheer size of Vlaar and his frowning face put me off!

Come on then you bastards, let's get this shit done.

I am on the train to Brum and feel like a soldier about to go into battle.

All steely determination and ready for the forthcoming conflict.

We have done our bit. You are going to be heavily backed by the best part of forty thousand punters.

Now it is up to the players to pull a performance out.

Come on you Villa boys!

Getting ready to drive to the stadium. It's been so long since I attended a Villa win that I think my lucky pants and socks must have worn out and been binned. Unsure whether I can trust the 1957 replica shirt, but it did get us that undeserved point v Southampton. Did not find any Valium but have packed Immodium, thanks to Villa In Denmark for the suggestion.

Please, please Villa.  A crappiest, scrappiest 1-0 win will do nicely.

The players owe us the mother of all performances today . Can't decide whether to stay stone cold sober or get spasticated for the game.

I've got no logic behind it but I'm feeling like today is going to be a good day. Maybe it's the sunshine.

Our fears will be over by 5pm this afternoon.

Believe brothers and sisters.

Funny, I feel the same, but more like a WW1 infantryman waiting for the whistle to send him over the top, walking slowly towards a well-entrenched machine gun.
