I am quietly confident that we wont lose

Hopefully a point will be enough to keep us up

Id go with
------------Guzan
Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Bertrand
Bacuna, Westwood, Delph
Albrighton, Gabby, Robinson

Im hoping Hull will be in FA Cup final mode. Although as others have said the probability on Shane Long making an utter mug of Baker if he starts will be pretty high.

So no Baker and no Weimann. Hull are utter shite to be honest but to be fair to Bruce, Jelavic and Long seem a decent partnership. Delph dominated the midfield in the dire away game against the same opposition. Hoping for something similar here.

I'll go with a 1-1 draw.

Guzan
Lowton-Vlaar-Clark-Bertrand
Westwood-Delph
Karim
Bacuna-Gabby-Albrighton

A fist pumping 0-0 to ensure safety and Lambert to be put out to pasture during 6-0-6.

Guzan
Lowton Vlaar Clark Bertrand
Albrighton KEA Delph Gabby
Tonev
Holt

Holt because he is the most likely to hold up a ball, so sad that he is the best option

Tonev because at least he will have a shot, surely one day one will go in :-)

1-0 home win....takes off Rose tinted specs

I too am hopeful that the Blues have gone before we kick off to put a little spring in our step.

Holt struggles even to get to the ball, let alone hold it

Assuming we lose our last 2, a draw is of no use to us is it? 4 points or 5 points ahead of Fulham with better goal difference is the same - either they win both, or they don't.

The bright side is that it is The Bartons beer festival this weekend so win, lose or draw, however the other results work out, I am going to get legless after the match.

So it is.
See you there then.

He's much more likely to hold the ball up than the other options, and occasionally does it quite well. We all wish we had better options, of course, but all the Oakham taps are off and we're choosing between Carling and Fosters here.

Edit: didn't see the previous post about the Bartons' beer fest. Spooky coincidence.

Nope, because it won't happen.
