Well I'm going to this one. 9 months on from the euphoria at the Emirates and it's come to this - our 'cup final'.

I have not seen Villa win a VP nor score a goal in the games I have been to this season.  I think we'll lose 0-2 but would be 'happy' with a draw.

Feeling I should be at the Hull game to help drive us over the finish line but change my mind every day, I was at the Mcleish Bolton game which was truly poisonous and I fear a similar result and atmosphere, but an even bigger reason not to attend is that I would be going with my eldest son and the last home league win we saw together was the first home game of the Mcleish season, I think we have been to 18 league games since that fixture without seeing Villa win, should we steer clear or get down there? Oh by the way 1-1

lets make it a cauldron of noise so we can show match of the day and the rest of the footballing world that the holte end is really" the 12th man. no matter what you think about lambert and the players lets put all this aside just for one match and like my post on the hull protest thread lets bring back the balloons for this game like we did in the 70s. this club needs our support like never before dont care where you sit just get behind the team for 90 minutes

cant claim this quote to be mine, but one of our own on here, about summed it up (imho perfectly)

lambert sezs it is our cup final.

well lambert and villa in cup games great :-[

we'd better improve the squad for the championship cuz that's a tougher league than the prem.

When you have been to that many games without seeing a win its soul destroying Lee and you start to think you are a Jinx which I know is a load of bollocks but you do think like that, fucked if I know what to do.

I have bought a ticket to this. Where can one acquire Valium without a prescription?

I don't know about the Valium, but I'm down to the pharmacy tomorrow to see if I can some Imodium.

I've drafted Long and Jelavic into my Fantasy team and gotten rid of Vlaar.  I'm hoping that secures us at least a 0-0.
