It wasn't just Vlaar that came
Over to us at the end, Alby, Baker and one or two others did as well and got told to fuck off and waved away by quite a few fans. A few clapped, myself included. Saddens me to see anyone in the claret and blue get abused like that, anger should be directed at Lambert and Lerner.
Agree, it's not the players fault, certainly not the likes of Albs or Baker. They try hard but simply aren't PL level. Vlaar and KEA were bought from abroad as gambles and they are not PL quality. The likes of Westwood Lowton Bennett etc are just League 1 players having a go . Not their fault they have been dropped into the deep end of the pool

Something has to be done. I've been a season tkt holder for 20 years and tonight is the first time I've ever registered for a forum because I'm so upset & angry. We need to march on this.  >:(

We'll have no marching here! Are you local?
Genuinely funny, thanks for making me smile.

Giggsy's Red Devils getting a result at The Theatre of Dreams in front of the United Faithful really helped too.
Well there you go. Reasonable  sensible people have resorted to making this sort of statement. Lerner and Lambert have a lot to answer for!

We should never forget hidden amongst all of this was the debacle over taking the FA Cup seriously.  Supposedly to ensure our survival in this league.  What a pitiful decision that will look if we drop.  Amongst the many others.

It is. Vlaar starts to come over and then kind of gestures fuck it. At least in his body language. I'm sure the players are just as tired of losing as we are watching them.
I don't see anything wrong with Vlaar's action. He claps and then stands and thinks and walks away with a bit of an arm wave as notices that all other players are not behind him.

When Rooney's second goal went in, I felt happy for a fraction of a second, and a little part of me died

Welcome mossy.   You brought your pain to the right place.   Marching was for Doug and DOL.  Bolton was for TSM.   This cabal of incompetents deserve one thing and one thing only.   Mass contempt.   An empty stadium and the silent treatment is all they will understand.   They are not football men you see.   They do not understand football stuff.

Great comnent Brian

Don't worry, you can get a special pump for that.

It already does regardless of what happens in the last 3 games. The man is pathetic and there were people who went to extreme lengths to defend his stance on the FA cup.

I'm near the end of my 11-hour round trip and also the end of my patience.  I've just received an email from Villa reminding me that I haven't yet renewed. I suppose you have to admire their cheek but that's all there is to admire. The last couple of months have been as dismal as anything since 1986--7 and Villa are very naive if they think their season ticket holders are going to sign up for more of the same. The players are as much to blame as the manager: their performance today was devoid of skill, intelligence and commitment.  If the players aren't interested you can't  expect the fans to be.

I'm afraid the very second our destiny is confirmed - whatever it may be - Lambert must be relieved of his duties. He simply isn't up to managing our club. As simple as that.

The owner has given up, the manager can't do the job he signed up for and the players are not Premier League standard players.
We are in deep shit and the only thing that will save us ( this season) is the crapness of the few teams below us.
I can't wait until this season is over, whatever the outcome.
Thanks Randy, you have taken away from me one of the few joys I had left for myself.
