As odd as this sounds, I think if we put in a performance like that first half next week we would win comfortably. With Villa, it's all about confidence and ours was snookered by a spectacular goal.

Kicking off on 606

Is it somebody from Devon who wasn't at the game but thinks it's time for Giggs to go?

the one thing I think you can say with some conviction is that we won't be beating anyone comfortably any time soon

We haven't won a game comfortably since Sunderland last season & even then we went a goal down first.

Norwich was pretty comfortable.

Really, did you miss the first 30 minutes?

It was 1-1 after 30 mins against Sunderland.

I believe your away fans are your best, I haven't been an away fan for years, but when your away fans chant what ours have today you have problems. lambert is finished the players playing in our claret and blue shirt are and never will be good enough. But lerner is a complete twat he imho is the bloke that should just go. lambert like McLeish just went for the bigger job not their fault their under qualified , but lerner has wrecked our club in relatively a short time, what does the future hold, cuz with all the signs if not this season then were down next.

Fingers crossed Villa will somehow contrive to stay up and then Lerner will sell up before he finishes the job.

We were never losing against sunderland.

Norwich ended up being more comfortable as it was game over at HT. It took an hour to be in the same position against Sunderland. We may be shit but I don't see how anyone can say Norwich wasn't a comfortable win.

Please someone buy us out.

Everyone to do with this current crop of losers I want out of the club.

Lambert
Lerner
Faulkner
The defence
The midfield
The forwards

I honestly couldn't give a fuck if we started afresh from scratch and we never had to see any of them again. Theres a real losers and excuse makers mentality at the club right now. It started when MON left, no one took the bull by the horns and took charge, everything was MONs fault. 4 years later I wouldn't be surprised if they are still feeling sorry for themselves and cursing him.

We lose, we go again.
Someone fucks up, they get picked again.
Bad fullback? Buy another one? He's shit too? Buy another one.

It's a circus, a really dull one, ran by clowns who have no new material.

Every interview is the same.
90% of the team selections are the same.
Gameplan is always the same.
Mistakes made are the same.

Someone just come in, with a fucking brain and get some football men into this club and start again.

Lerner fuck off and buy yourself some new cars, I really wish we weren't your midlife crisis purchase.
Fulkner, youre an arse licker, you'll be sucking cocks in the FA to get ahead after this season hopefully.
And as for Paul Lambert and his two bullies he drags around with him leeching off our club, you're as inspirational as a turnip.

Go the lot of you.

Sums it up for me.

It is really difficult to know where to start in fully describing the shambles this club has become.

Honestly, from top to bottom, the club is a fucking mess and all of them want fucking shooting.

The stay-away half arsed chairman who can't string two coherent sentences together with his "tell you what I am going to do in the summer" bullshit, the utter moron.

The shiny faced twelve year old CEO who is great at running restaurants and charities but absolutely out of his depth running a football club.

The denialist, mumbling wreck of a football relic we have in charge of the team who has managed to make McLeish look decent by comparison.

The collection of players who look like they should be in the Championship - at best - in most cases, and in others like they've never played the game before. This group of "young and hungry" players, the likes of the clueless Baker, the half arsed Weimann with his three goals all season and accompanying undropability, the ones who just don't look particularly arsed.

Or how about the ones who have spent the season playing keepy uppies with schoolchildren because their high wages mean they can't be trusted with the proper squad?

Then take a look at some of the shit that has gone on.

Coaches suspended for bullying.

Coaches who, apparently, had made training sessions a misery and had been actively training the players to play long ball tactics. What the fuck was Lambert doing while that was going on?

Who is the manager here at the moment? Is it Lambert? For how long? is he actually working his notice? Is the chairman going to sack him? Is the chairman going to actually be the chairman this time next week, let alone this time next year?

Sometimes a club will start behaving as if it has decided it is going to get relegated, and not let anything stop it. A few years ago that was Newcastle. This season, we are starting to look like that Newcastle side.

The difference is, Newcastle went down and kept all their better players. We are going to go down and find ourselves with a squad full of fucking dross which has no hope of getting automatic promotion.

Shame on the witlessly stupid, and the wilfully negligent morons who have brought us to this situation.

I wouldn't piss on any of them if they were on fire.

Thanks for expressing what I couldn't. Spot on.

"We then lost a poor goal. That second was a major turning point. It was a great finish but it was an error on our part.

"There wasn't much too much in it at that time. The second goal was the turning point though.

"The third goal took the wind out of our sails. The fourth goal was disappointing"

There's something quite amusing about that! It puts me in mind of the 'What have the Romans ever done for us?' sketch.

He really doesn't realise how stupid he sounds when he comes out with remarks like that

The 5th was lucky
The 6th was offside
The 7th Baker was picking a bogey at the time
The 8th the players thought the ref had blew for a free kick
The 9th you've got to applaud, three cheers for the opposition

He really thinks he has an excuse for everything. The man is an incompetent joke.

The difference between Lerner and HDE is that Doug's decisions were always money based, good decisions and bad ones.   I was, and remain critical of Doug Ellis but with him you knew what you got.  You expected him to be an old tightarse and he would not let you down. He never hid, quite the reverse and whether by accident or design you usually knew what was going on at the club.   Randy Lerner makes a very bad situation unbearable by hiding.   He has got the money but he will not invest it in the club because he has got the pox to us and looks away from our plight.   If Doug had been in charge for the last month Trinity Road would have been rammed with daubed bedsheets and cops dragging away protesters.   For the last four years the club and the fans have been asleep and I have been as guilty of that as anybody.   The only time we woke up was at the Bolton game and there are plenty around who consider what happened that day to be disgraceful.   I consider it to be a tiny bit of evidence that the lion is still alive.

We have only got ourselves to blame for putting up with what has happened to our club.

Agreed.

I was at the game. It was pockets of fans singing Lambert out etc so not by all means everyone. Most where just resigned to another performance of utter shite.
I can't make my mind up about Lambert. He's been asked to do a job on a budget and I feel a bit sorry for him in that respect. But then you see him playing Weimann out of position all season and his inability to coach corners at either end of the pitch makes you wonder how he has got away with being a coach for so long.

We will stay up though I think but something has to be done for next season or we will struggle to get above 25 points with this team. Oh and we've been unlucky with injuries.... Okere only has to be 5% better than Clark or Baker for us to be above 40 points by now.
