so we got rid of Culverhouse and Karsa thinking the mood and play would improve, and we are left with exactly the same as if they were still here infecting the club. Clearly we didn't suspend all aspects of the problem. Whatr a ridiculous state of affairs.

Yep, we should have got rid of all the players as well.

Too many players not good enough. Too many players with no hunger or fear of being dropped.
Lead by a manager who doesn't have a clue and a chairman who doesn't care.
I'm not angry anymore,  just sad at what we've become.
I love this club with all my heart, as do many of us, and I always will.
Shame the clowns that currently shame our badge in the first team can't show just an inch of that passion.
UP THE VILLA, now and always.

I followed the team down to the old 3rd division, there were some great times down there but I will not be getting a ST while this shambles from the top down are here. Very upset.

We are the poorest side in the prem now and if we do go down Lambert and Lerner will never be forgiven.
I gave up on Villa and watched the Fulham game, god help us next week the way Fulham got pummelled the second half. Agree about Baker a walking disaster. We will not get another point so relying on the ones below us to lose.
I've been watching since 91 and thus is 100% the worst
I've said it many times now - this is the worst Villa team I've ever seen in my life.

Only Villa can manage to be one of the few sides to have more possession than Swansea, 53%, and get twatted 4-1.

The thing for me is why fucking keep him for another 5mins? He has lost the fans completely, there is no way back now. Every loss will be his fault, every win will be in spite of him.

Lerner is to blame for this

If Doug was in charge Lambert would have been walked round the rose garden after the Bradford debacle.
How he is still employed by us and paid millions is a fucking joke

That's it I've had more than enough. I used to try and have faith in Lambert, to back him up and believe. But not anymore, we have lost 5 of our last 6 games, with three 4-1 defeats. We're piss poor and nothing's changing every week. I'm just going to hope for a miracle and at least get another win before the end of the season, but i'm really just hoping there's gonna be 3 worse team than us.

Grief Theo, it sounds as if you've only just realised it!!!!!!!!?

I'm really quite cross about this. Apart from the shit on the field and in the dugout, I not only want ManU to win, but Hull  old be the only route to safety, today and next week.

That it should come to this?

If we go down and Lerner goes, you can forget your rumoured billionaire takeovers. It'll be 'local businessman made good' or 'Indonesian conglomerate', neither of which is terrible in and of itself, but even if we do get back into the Premier League at the first attempt, we'll be one of those Fulham/Hull/Cardiff teams that forever bother the bottom half and get our better players picked off, managed by one mediocre English manager after another. We simply have to stay up and Lerner has to fuck off or we're an also-ran for the rest of our days.

Well said TV.   The sound and fury over Karsa and Culverhouse and their suspension has not resulted in one scintilla of improvement in morale or confidence.

None of the players appear to be aware of the situation the club is currently in!

We are going down unless we now win against Hull.

Today was woeful. In the first half on 2 occassions the ball was crossed into the Swansea box without an attempt from gabby to even get his head any where near the ball. I know he is not the best in the air but due to our current predicament I would have thought he would have at least attempted a challenge and dived forward towards the ball. The likes of Hitchens,Hateley,Gray,Withe,Regis would have just took the chances without even breaking sweat.

It now seriously all come done to our performance against Hull and the muppet who is Steve Bruce!

Feel sorry for all villa fans who paid to go today and took the time. The support is phenomenal but not deserved by the jokers at the club
