I said in the match thread, even sacking the twat won't help now.
It's too late, it should have happened months ago.
We are just a poor, poor premier league team, who are now getting exactly what they deserve.

We are the poorest side in the prem now and if we do go down Lambert and Lerner will never be forgiven.
I gave up on Villa and watched the Fulham game, god help us next week the way Fulham got pummelled the second half. Agree about Baker a walking disaster. We will not get another point so relying on the ones below us to lose.

We've got one last chance to get a win and it's next week against Hull.
Biggest Villa game in years.

I honestly think we could go now.  You would have some hope if you could see a team fighting for every point but quite simply we are the only team in freefall even compared to Norwich.

Here's me tonight thanking Hull City, hoping for a Sunderland Cardiff draw and praying that Norwich don't get another point.  That it has come to this beggars belief.  After the Chelsea game I was pissing myself at albions plight!

He's we've left it too late. He should have been sacked ages ago, but Lerner doesn't give a flying fuck about Aston Villa FC and hasn't done for a number of years. It's just a pity the fans didn't put pressure on the club earlier.

I wouldn't put a penny on winning next week.

If Lerner does sell up, what a legacy. To leave us in a worse situation than the last season under Ellis and O'Leary.

If the metaphorical 'Bolton moment' hasn't yet come for Lambert, then it may well be a poisonous atmosphere for the last home game of this season next weekend! No other manager, anywhere in the world, would still be in employment with Lambert's horrendous record. I'm glad I'm working next weekend, and that pisses me off even more!

This is the lowest I've felt since we lost 0-3 to charlton under Billy Mc at Selhurst Park. That day effectively we were relegated. It feels the same now.
Shambles.
And where the fuck is Lerner ? The "custodian" his words ! Absolute twat

Sunderland winning tomorrow would not be the end of the world either. Albion and Swansea go there too so getting say 7 would take them to 36. Cardiff lose that's them and Fulham needing to win both and Norwich in trouble with their fixtures.

so we got rid of Culverhouse and Karsa thinking the mood and play would improve, and we are left with exactly the same as if they were still here infecting the club. Clearly we didn't suspend all aspects of the problem. Whatr a ridiculous state of affairs.

I've said it many times now - this is the worst Villa team I've ever seen in my life.

Looking at our run in, can anyone actually see where our next point is coming from? Bearing in mind Hull just came from 2-0 down and must fancy their chances against our bag of shambling wank.

As a lifelong football and Villa fan, I understand that losing is as much a part of sport as winning. I actually don't mind losing. It's the manner in which we are losing that I find unacceptable and utterly depressing. There seems to be a resignation about the team, and it is leading them closer and closer to that trap door. If and when we go I pray that we do not keep falling because the owner will not fund us to come back up. He will run us on an ever more thinning shoe string and hope for the best.
