For me, as I don't really invest in new kits is to get the best deal for the club which is what Macron did for us.The difference is, even given the fact we were low priority to them and the quality was shit, which seems to be the case with Macron, too, the Nike kits all looked nicer than the horrible designs Macron have come up with.Even that fucking horrible one with the check bits down the side, even that was nicer than what Macron have come up with.
In my opinion (which must be tempered against the fact I'm told I have very little taste), the best and most enduring designs are usually the simplest and cleanest (e.g. E-Type Jag).Sadly Macron struggle from the onset with their stupidly intrusive logos. The best kits have the basic colours in the right places, with minimal trim and no unnecessary insets, panels, flashes, patterning, shading, or for the love of Mike, detailing.
