I thought Southampton fully played their part in a very drab affair.

they did. For all of their neat touches they have failed to score in two straight games against us and Cardiff

Hard fought point. Stops the rot. We still look a very poor side though. Weimann and Gabby are a waste in the side at the moment. Rest them, let a couple of others have a go to freshen things.

Albrighton was superb today. Worked himself into the ground. Delivered a lot of good balls which sadly our goal shy forwards never looked like making the most of. He's more than earned himself a new deal and it'd be a disgrace not to give him one.

Vlaar was also superb at the back too. Bertrand as well. Bacuna disappointed me. Should have done more going forward.

Bite your hand off for the point but we are dog shit. Lambert is part of the three amigos, fuck him off if we want to improve, don't be fooled that it's all those other two clowns, theyre the scapegoats.

I'm pretty concerned that we're showing very little fight. The introduction of Sid and Shay hasn't apparently put any fire in the players' bellies. We're in the shit still, and I can't believe we weren't going hammer and tongs when we kept finding so much joy down their left flank. That Shaw perhaps had an off day today, but Marc turned him inside out all game and he shouldn't have been on the pitch by the end. Why wasn't Holt on the pitch at this point?

We were awful but Lambert and Lallana were clearly minding themselves. Didnt stop us trying to hand them two penalties late on but think we dug out the point okish.

Thought Westwood and Delph were good in midfield. Vlaar and Bertrand good at the back. Albrighton tried hard but was up against an exceptional opponent. Guzan made some good saves. The rest verged between average and a disgrace (Weimann and Gabby).

I disagree, thought there was plenty of fight. Just not much quality
