I'd be really happy to take the draw. Might be a really useful point and to stop the rot. I cannot see Villa losing five on the bounce. However, if we do, I would like to see Lambert sent the same way as the other two clowns.
Too late for that now. Sacking a manager with 4 games to go ?

I believe... with the introduction of SAS this week to the coaching staff, the place around AVFC is a much more happier & positive place... The cloud hanging over Villa Park will finally be lifted on Saturday. We now need to play our part (not that we haven't!)  by roaring the lads on to 3 points.

There is a renewed optimism and hopefully it will help especially if the lads go out with some semblance of passable tactics instilled in them. I don't think it will hide the fact that the overall quality of the squad is very poor indeed. Let's get over this finish line and start sorting this crap out.

Think I'd play the 433 with albrighton instead of Weimann. Though we could perhaps drop holt and play gabby up top?

I'm torn between a rousing 3-1 win and another deflating loss. 3-1 either way it is then

I wouldnt like to call this one either way. A lot depends on Gabby putting on his occasional top rate performance which may swing things our way.

I'd go with a 4-4-2 (ish) formation with Gabby & Weimann up top. Holt can sit back on the bench. Albrighton to start too

I think that the midweek shake up will lift the fans and players and we will win. But I still think it will end up as Lambert's Bolton match if we lose.

I think that might depend on the performance.

Have just taken 6/4 about a villa win...draw no bet...not too worried about the bet but hope we avoid a defeat for one big reason..SID. .! The club is a shambles top to bottom and none of this is Sid ' doing..The man is a villa legend and if it does go all tits up this season I don't want Sid to be tarnished with any of the fallout...Ffs Villa batter the saints tomorrow.

A solid attendance, some renewed optimism at the back of a difficult week, some freedom and freshness in training. I'm going for a morale boosting 3-1 win; Gabby, Albrighton and Bacuna

2-1 Villa. Lallana for them. Gabby and Bacuna for us.

This is it for me to. You'd like to think if Gabby was one of the ones who didn't have a particularly good relationship with Culverhouse, that his mood will now be a lot brighter. The last month Gabby's form has been very poor, but he's not put the yards in either. He cut a very frustrated figure on the pitch.
I'm hoping this is going to be one of those games where he's got a rocket up the backside and will drag us through. On his day he'd unplayable. Those days become increasingly rare, but they do still happen and hopefully tomorrow is one of those days.
