Really good interviews on AVTV now - RDM & Xia. Really impressed with what RDM has to say.

Bit worried about being top of the heap in ten years.  Sounds a long time to me.  Any chance of pretty shit hot in five?

I think we'll enjoy watching the team this season . That's a start.

I want to walk along Witton lane after the game to silence from the away support instead of the wild celebrations which were the norm of late.

Totally agree with Walsall Villain. Said to my daughter I was sick to death of walking down the steps to the exit listening to the opposition singing and cheering at another Villa loss

We've got to stop accepting failure. That will be the start of it.

Yes that and inevtible  anytime now those f*ckers on my left are going to cheer a goal  during the match. Absolutely sickening and shameful.

I want them to have left the ground after 70 mins.

Tony X doesn't seem like the kind of guy who will accept failure.

Yep, or turn up with the mindset that they will lose but it's a nice ground and it's a one off chance because Villa are going back up. You can only hope! Norwich and Palace fans must have been so disappointed last year.

Same here. Leaving Villa Park in a good mood after a victory have been few and far between these last 6 years. Sick to death of seeing away fans celebrating after stuffing us in our own backyard.

I hope that's true.

From what I know of the emerging Chinese middle class, there is no comfort zone. They are the sole children of parents who push them towards success, because that's the only chance they have in a hugely competitive environment. They are used to working under immense pressure. And they work damn hard.

Dr X has to shatter the B6 comfort zone. The complacency, stupidity, misplaced arrogance and reliance on past glories that typified the Randy Lerner era must all be fired into space, as far away from the new Aston Villa as it can possibly get. What we're going to need to get out of this division is hard work, vigilance, an intolerance of failure and the belief that you're only as good as your last result. If we carry that on into the Premier League, then we'll be on the right track.
