I would say some of the individuals involved are a concern.

Taken from Risso's post:

" Samuelson's client list includes a wide-spectrum of notorious international characters from shadowy Arab sheikhs to fugitive Russian billionaire Boris Berezovsky, wanted by Interpol for money laundering and participation in international organized crime. Samuelson himself, for years, has been the subject of multiple high profile money laundering investigations in the US and Europe. Most prominent were the probes by the French Central Office for Combating Grand Financial Offences (OCRGDF) a principal French governmental agency investigating major financial frauds, and the Economic Investigation Service (FIOD/ECD), the Netherlands money laundering watchdog, court filings show. In the early 2000s Samuelson was also investigated by the FBI in connection with the Bank of New York money laundering scandal. Samuelson has never been arrested, indicted or convicted..."

Obviously, this type of stuff is a huge concern.  Is it time for the Supporter's Trust to make some kind of statement voicing fan concern over at least two of the people who seem to be involved in this takeover?  I, for one, would appreciate it if they did.

Xia obviously trusts Samuelson  to get him what he wants.I am starting to question if Xia is all  he appears to be.

Good luck to Interpol if they're still trying to apprehend Boris Berezovsky

I have to say I was never even sure about what he appeared to be. I'm just hoping for the best.

By doing so he'd be putting us out of our misery.

He could maybe go and live on a farm somewhere, with lots of room to run around

If all that's not possible, we should definitely see about getting him neutered.

It does seem to be a bit murky doesn't it  :-\

I would imagine if you delved deep enough into a lot of very wealthy people there would be some shady buggers hiding there also

wish we would be a bit more transparent to be honest

To be honest as long as he comes in, spends some money wisely and appoints managers carefully, I don't care who his mates are or how he accomplishes the takeover. Fingers crossed.

It's a good job Abramovich isn't buying Chelsea now. I doub't he'd stand much chance of passing the 'Fit & Proper' Test with his rumoured shady dealings.
