not in Stow on the Wold, no.
This thread has taken a worrying turn.
This thread has taken more turns than Lewis Hamilton. It's the H&V equivalent of Aldi - you go in for a bag of potatoes and come out with a new sprocket set.

The most informative toilet attendant I ever used as an asset was in the Ministry of Tourism in Cairo.  Somebody had pinched one of the toilet doors for firewood so it was his job to sit by the lavatory doors with six screws and a screwdriver.  Depending on the gender of the intended toilet user he would stand and fix the door in the appropriate frame.  On departure of the toilet user he would unscrew the door and wait some more.  I bet he would know what is going on at the club.  He looked remarkably like KEA.

In Istanbul there was an ancient female attendant sitting behind a desk immediately facing the backs of guys at the urinals. She was the go to woman for anyone requiring the single toilet roll for the three cubicles. After much thought she'd dispense the number of sheets she considered you required based, presumably on years of experience and the level of desperation showing on punters' faces.

Her other responsibility was to direct the man who came in to mop.She did so from her desk through aggressive shouting and pointing often leading to punters hopping on one leg to finish their pee as a mop was sloshed between their feet.

Her final duty was to smile charmingly and collect payment for the entertainment as you left (it was worth every dollar!)

Wonder if we will hear anything from Tone today?  He likes to keep us fully informed as to all aspects of the takeover. Been a bit quiet for a couple of days hasn't he. Perhaps its the school holidays as well in China and they have gone to the seaside!

Sooner or later we have to get to the bottom of this matter.

We can't go on having the pee taken out of us by others in the area who give sh** a bad name.

The way we are going it will be Eric Black in charge next season!

Loved the toilet story about Istanbul, if I ever go, I will have to hunt out those toilets!

I have been in China since Sunday and so far I have not found anyone who has heard of Dr Xia even after I tell them that he is the new owner of the great Aston Villa. Mind you I have mainly spoken to hotel staff, train station clerks  and taxi drivers!

I am in Beijing Aftab and same story here.

I was in a meeting this morning with some Chinese people who were complaining about how China is portrayed in the west and how they need to develop soft power and become media friendly. Almost nobody does PR, nobody does media training and Few see the need to influence people. Which partly explains why Tony Xia is not polished in front of the camera.

A quick update by Hollis would be a good idea. Just a line or two on the OS stating things are proceeding well and that the club hopes for it to be concluded shortly. I know it doesn't say much but it might just ease any nerves that are creeping in. Especially as it is June 1 tomorrow and pre-season doesn't feel that far away.

I am beginning to think Dr x is locked in a toilet somewhere, hence the media blackout.

In that case I'm disappointed we haven't heard from him on the Off Topic shithouse thread.

It's all gone quiet over there,
etc.

Meanwhile, our less than fit squad can't return for preseason training.

Why would they return for pre season training when the season hasn't officially finished?
