For me, it was gone when listening to 5 live interviewing an old guy and his son who were on their way to Old Trafford. I thought I'd misheard when the old guy said he'd supported them for 7 years, but then his lad repeated it. They offered it as some badge of honour. C***s.

There was a piece in the Guardian the other week written by the author Julian Barnes about what it meant seeing his beloved Leicester City winning the league. From what I could gather he occasionally looked at updates on his phone to see how they were getting on and he sometimes watched Match of the Day.

I'm sure they could have found somebody who actually went to the odd game if they made a bit of an effort.

All the Aussies here love to have a yarn about sport in general and being English, I get asked a lot about LCFC winning the league. I always say that they've had the goodwill from pretty much all the neutral supporters of other clubs this year, but if they get off to a decent start next season, just watch the backlash happen. No way will they be 'allowed' to win it on the bounce.

I have been in China since Sunday and so far I have not found anyone who has heard of Dr Xia even after I tell them that he is the new owner of the great Aston Villa. Mind you I have mainly spoken to hotel staff, train station clerks  and taxi drivers!

No but a man has been fixing something in the toilets close to the office I am in I will go and ask him!
By the way the public toilets on A45 at Stonebridge island always had a few attendants standing around.
