I'm sure if this guy is pure fiction it would have come up already. You'd have thought that if we had conducted our diligence through our various legal/accounting resources they'd have uncovered something that smells off. And the PL review piece should be just that. I don't understand why it is a story at all as shouldn't this be standard protocol. If this potential new owner isn't all he seems you would think between all of the checks being made it will come out.

It's not a story...it is, as you say, standard procedure. We know little about him or where the funds are coming from and seem to be whipping ourselves up into mass hysteria as the hours pass with all sorts of conspisory theory's. I guess it's human nature to assume the worst and given the last 5 years, we're getting bloody good at it.

Haven't seen or heard any Villa news today, so what's the one thing that's got everyone's knickers in a twist regarding the takeover? I looked on here yesterday and most people were positive but today it's like the sky's fallen in.

Haven't seen or heard any Villa news today, so what's the one thing that's got everyone's knickers in a twist regarding the takeover? I looked on here yesterday and most people were positive but today it's like the sky's fallen in.

You know when you google "I have a bad cough" and the answer comes up with some horrible life threatening illness and you get worried. Thats pretty much what's been happening...could be true, could be false...we'll find out soon enough.

The controlling interest in five major companies thing, for example. The Birds Nest stadium stuff.

Sorry but this is the ownership of our club we are talking about. It's too important to not be concerned about this sort of thing.
