If they are running it as a business, it's a positive.
If they are using improved methods of sports science, it's a positive.
If they are moving over here to keep a close eye on things, it's a positive.
If they are employing Di Matteo or Moyes, it's a positive.
If they stick to their word about summer investment, it's a positive.

I'd agree, and I'd add that it's less about the size of the wad and more about bringing in a manager who can inculcate an ethos of discipline, good coaching, some passion for the club and togetherness.

Yeah? What did you find, anything other than media coverage of the takeover? I'm having another look now, with no results after Monday (Google search tools allows you to filter out results based on dates), there's literally nothing before he was announced as the new chairman.

I'm sure you got loads that was created on the Wednesday night, but the guy has no web presence which existed before he was announced as the new owner, none at all, and this is easily verifiable now, but I can't post links yet.

"Tony Xia" -villa

There's a few straggling results for sites that are covering the takeover but somehow haven't used the word "Villa", and apart from that, not a lot.

Combined with the rest of what we thought we knew (Harvard professor, 5 companies, the Bird's Nest stadium) turning out to be false, it's not easy to be positive about this guy.
