I feel very uneasy about this takeover

Why do I get the impression that in a James Beattieeque only club in the entire world to get punished for tapping up a player, the fit and proper owners committee aren't going to rubber stamp this.

Hitler said he would crush Switzerland using the Berlin tram drivers.  We would be a better and bigger club than Small Heath Alliance with Eddie Shoestring as our owner.

I would strongly urge people not to dismiss anything out of hand, even from blues supporters.

Of course not. The amount of digging done by a few of that lot whilst the rest of us were catching up on Sky News makes me wonder.

We've just got to wait and see, haven't we?

We're not, though. It's just that I won't be leaping to consult them mere hours after a Villa takeover, despite them having our best interests at heart.
That may be, but I would suggest that if there was anyone who might be good at finding out information about chinese / hong kong-based businesses, it would be the more literate members of the blues support.

I'm guessing it is an imminent goodbye to Sir Brian. If so thank you for bringing some sense of reason for a short period of time

Do you know I had that thought earlier too!

Something just doesn't feel right. high rolling magnates tend to have been heard of but nothing about this guy. We don't even know how much he or the company have got behind them. I don't like the biggest club in China spiel especially since we've just been hearing how the Chinese government are ploughing more money and time into building their own league and it's brand in China and worldwide. A businessman v The Chinese Government? I know where my money would be going.

I wonder if this is the reason Bernstein & King left? They knew Randy was leaning towards this guy and they couldn't support it?  Maybe ties in with them wanting an English manager rather than a tie in with Di Matteo. Obviously guessing at that bit. But, I don't know, this looks to me like the start of a long long way back as I don't fancy this in the slightest. If we become a club who changes owners as quick as some change managers we are in a lot of trouble.

Worried? Yep.

The fact that they're Chinese doesn't automatically make them dodgy. And even if they are dodgy then remember our last owner was as honest as the day is long and he turned us into a bloody shambles.

It's been rubber stamped though, hasn't it? We wouldn't be making official press statements unless it's all gone through.

I'm not sure anyone is suggesting that just because he's chinese that they're dodgy. If the most information you can find about someone is from the actual press release announcing their acquisition of the club, though, then people are naturally going to be suspicious.

I'm touched by their heartfelt concern, but I would also suggest that if there was anyone hoping and praying that our new owners would be desperate crooks with a one-way ticket to oblivion, it would be the skinless-fisted apes from Small Heath and Solihull.

Yup I am with you.

In this internet age to know nothing about billion pound businesses and their owners doesn't make any sense at all.
