There were 3 potential interested parties (?) but something tells me from the last pages 1 may be Chinese, do we know anything of the other 2, if indeed there are others?

One is Thai but they might just be trying to curry favour with one, or both,  the others.

Enough of the puns now - they're getting a bit tedious.

No, I've read this one several times and I just don't get the China-related joke in it. Can anyone assist?

I was all up for a bit of punnery but will agree with Chris, I come on here, see 2 pages of posts on this thread then its like a kick in the ribs when I realise there's no new developments. The problem is we had 2-3 weeks of really good news with board appointments and hints at a sale followed by a massive blow in King and Bernstein leaving. Since then its been a few statements of absolutely no substance and its teetering on going really flat again.

It all comes down to players wont be leaving or coming in until we have a new manager and we probably wont have a new manager till the sale goes through - everything should roll on from this.  It feels close but I do hate the fact that Villa keep everything under wraps till its done and dusted

Are puns ever anything but tedious?

Carson Yeung at that other place, got them a CUP.

Also got them relegated, but got the fans into a Euro adventure...the last time they were in Europe was WW2.

Sorry, a really old joke... ;D

Have I missed something?

I've spent 30 minutes skipping back and back through 10 pages of posts...all talking about Chinese investors.

Is this all about the Moxley "exclusive" ?

Cos the guy is a fanny, and should have been arrested when they had the 'Hacking Tribunal" ~ imo

Probably too small fry, when they were after the PM's best mate and Rebecca Wade.

If all this googling about Chinese 'investors' is a result of Moxley...has it occured to anyone,
that .....
NO BODY...NO CONSORTIUM have actually got "Due Diligence" from us.

It would be a simple matter for Hollis to say, one of his interested parties has due diligence...but NO....so presumably, with 3 in the line-up, NO.... BODY.. nor CONSORTIUM is actually at the due diligence  state.

What if one of those 3 was Paladino, the guy that tried to buy our neighbours and ran foul of the FL because he wouldn't name his backers (Italian). Claimed guns were pointed at him at a QPR board meeting ...  ;D  etc etc.

Not a rich man, but a well used frontman. He's been blown away from our neighbours, but lives locally...failed at Forest recently...so....what if Paladino is in the mix?

One of the alleged 3 ?

There are "Non-Disclosure-Agreements" in any serious and expensive take-over.

BUT...saying that ONE party is in due diligence, is no breach of Business Etiquette

That's not been said by Hollis.

So, presumably, no Parties are in DD.

So, can we forget Moxley, and can we expunge 10 pages of Chinese gags and Googles ?

 ;D

Let's concentrate on the Spin, the "leaks" and evaluate them.

It's all we can do, because Hollis is treating us like mushrooms.
As the General often did.

 :)

And so it goes on. Personally I do not want another American anywhere near Villa.

Unless it's Larry Ellison!
