I must admit that I am surprised that a takeover is taking this long.  With a willing seller you'd think it would have been quite easy to get the information required to assess the club and once the relegation risk was avoided, I'd have thought it was pretty straight forward.

The 10th of July was a date mentioned a few times, which happens to be today.
Unsure, but,  I'm assuming that the 10th is the end of the 6 weeks exclusivity.

I am friends with Gary Penrice and I say that he won't be buying the Villa.
