It's just that sort of lowering of expectations that has held this once great club back.We should be aiming for 13th.

Why do people take any notice about stuff like that? There's probably not been one corporate takeover in history that was first announced to a scheduled meeting of the entire staff.

Meanwhile you clearly think that there is very little going on John?

I have to say, with us bidding in the main in what you would call "lambert" waters it would appear, I would be inclined to agree. If there was an imminent takeover you would have to think we would either be waiting it out to see if there was more funds and thus better players available or already targeting them in that knowledge.
