Maybe he is taking in the Walsall game with the new CEO?

Terry Ramsden?

There is something odd about this. If the club is being sold the incoming owners would insist on their own CEO. How can Randy hope to get a decent applicant when he can't offer job security? It suggests very strongly that the sale is being pushed towards the back burner.

My thoughts exactly. A little glimmer of hope died when I read this. I would still look back to Randolphs last statement though, He said the developments have progressed well didnt he??

I don't think this means anything. Remember that Ellis appointed a manager during the sales negotiations because it was an important position that needed to be filled. I'd suggest this is the same situation. If there is a buyer then Lerner will have discussed the recruitment with them, if not then it does the sale no harm to have someone in the job.

But would we be able to track his helicopter as successfully as we track Randy's jet? Although these days the only helicopter he owns may well be made by Airfix or Playmobil.

The timing is also significant if the sale is on hold. He knows we are not strong enough and would probably agree further expenditure before the transfer window closes.

Surely he wouldn't fly in just to tell Lambert he can have an extra bit of money to spend, unless of course his phones run out of credit.

Why is it so surprising for someone that has £250 million at stake taking a 7 hour flight to check on his investment.

I think it is more surprising that he stays away so much.

I've got many customers telephone systems hosted in 'the cloud', but I don't have any intention of going down to the data centre they're hosted in to see if they're ok.

If I had, I wouldn't here conversing with you.

I'd own you, and have you tilling my fields.

Perhaps I am reading more into it than it merits but it is try to make sense of what is happening to our club however you can and with fragments of information or allow the silence and secrecy to drive you mad. Something's afoot. I hope.
