OK so im gonna put it out there...we are over 3months from when the due dilligence would have started, we havent spent a single penny on transfers, have made no effort to re-sign any of our top players, Our immenently doomed CEO has quit and not been replaced, we havent sacked the worst manager in our history and Randy is flying into the country....

He landed at 6:40 this morning. Why haven't we signed anyone yet? Rumours around that he's hear to oversee a new CEO or at least meet with a headhunting firm to discuss. So says Talksport (I know) and a few other people on twitter. Maybe he's just off to the Walsall game?

To be fair he does still own the club and in his last statement said he was fully committed to refocusing on the running of the club as no sale had gone through. Maybe he's come to talk to Paul about the substantial transfer kitty he has for the rest of August.

There is something odd about this. If the club is being sold the incoming owners would insist on their own CEO. How can Randy hope to get a decent applicant when he can't offer job security? It suggests very strongly that the sale is being pushed towards the back burner.

My thoughts exactly. A little glimmer of hope died when I read this. I would still look back to Randolphs last statement though, He said the developments have progressed well didnt he??
