Think if there's no takers by August Randy will take us off the market, set a new 5 year plan and crack on with us.
This option looks more and more likely.

Can't be bothered to scroll back, but apparently, Randy is trying to sell us.

I can't be arsed to look into it, but it's rumoured that Aston Villa is a football club based in the Birmingham area.

Are you a sports journalist for a tabloid? If not and you fancy a change of direction....

Lerner sold the Browns to someone who is under investigation by the FBI, do not expect him to have a conscience

Lerner sold the Browns before the guy was under investigation. Are you blaming Lerner for not possessing powers of clairvoyance?

No but the point I'm making is he'll care who he sells it to but that will only last so long. He's a business man and if its between not selling and selling to someone who's got a dodgy past he'll choose the latter

His Spitting Image puppet would be an exact likeness of him.

I don't think there's a cat in hells chance that Lerner will sell us to someone with an obviously suspect background or connections.

He will also not allow his name to be tarnished by putting an institution like Aston Villa into the hands of just anyone.

Why not ? It's just money . This is the guy who appointed Alex McLeish after all

Ref McLeish - I'm sure this was done on advice, albeit a poor one.

Ref the sale - He also has a business reputation to uphold.

If I had £250m I wouldn't care what people think. Doubt he will either
