If he can get and extra £20 mill I doubt very much he gives a shit who he sells to. Would you?

If I had £250m I wouldn't care what people think. Doubt he will either
Agreed, posted the same just less eloquently.

He'll want to be remembered as a decent custodian I'm sure.

Yeah, but I think he'd prefer £250m more.

If he's got a choice, I think he'd choose the bid benefit us most. But don't kid yourselves folks, money talks.

So faced with two cash offers.  One for 100m from a Cliff Richard lead consortium or 300m from This bloke who's name I keep forgetting and Trump he'll do what?

Well we'll find out over the next few weeks, I'm confident that Lerner will sell to the right people first & foremost.

Me too. I don't think he's that motivated by money. Look at where he's spent the cash at villa - the pub, the moasaic, the training ground, forfeiting sponsorship money. They're all things that build the heritage/class of the club rather than instant success or line his pocket.

See also the Lerner wing at the national gallery.

Furthermore he already has more money than he can spend so £20-£50m probably wouldn't make that much difference to his lifestyle.

Didn't he give us £50m in the last set of accounts? He gave us a big chunk but cannot remember the number.
