Not much to report is there.

My advice, duck off early doors for a couple of shandies down the old nuclear sub and your boss will think you're in meeting innit?

Will update if I can get on the ol dog n bone to my HP.

May well do that as my Boss is today. Sik.

Get on it lad.

Skin full of lager lager lager.

I don't drink so it will be lemonade, lemonade, lemonade

Stand down everyone, stand down.

Is lemonade street talk for LSD?

Im drinking Moongazer amber ale from the Norfolk brew company in a hotel by the sea......ark at me on it early.......

At this rate, for Aston Villa, read Leeds United.

That could happen but there is no real reason why it should.  Leeds were crippled by debts where they'd used future season ticket sales to pay for their excesses.  Villa will be just about breaking even and could, if managed well, tick along and slowly grow, even with the club up for sale.

In my opinion the risk at the moment is that there is too much uncertainty: A manger with 12-months left on his contract, a 'For Sale' sign above the club and question marks about our best players' contracts.  Most of these issues could be sorted out, even with an absent owner, however at some point this summer he will need to decide what he is going to do as maintaining this limbo will damage his investment way more than taking a relatively small amount of time and money to sort out our future for the next 1 - 2 years.  It'd make us a more attractive purchase in my opinion too.

Can't remember exact details, but weren't Leeds in a position at one point where they were in League One and around 80% of their wage bill was being spent on players who were no longer at the club?

its actually  Bell End near Hagley

I'm moving house soon and had the chance to go there. I love the name, but saying it on the phone and to banks etc I think the novelty would wear off.

Mate of mine lived in Mincing Lane, Bell End.

It was murder for him to get taxis as they all thought he was taking the piss and wold drive off. In the end he'd get taxis to about 10 minutes away from his house and walk the rest of the way.

We have new owners.

Who?
Where?
When?

I thought London Boy would be the first to announce.

London Boy update : an ITK told me he originally hailed from Twatt in Shetland ( not the Orkney Twatt), then moved to Fine Bush Lane in Ruislip and is now working and  living in Back Passage in the City of London. He certainly talks out of it.
